2) Shape Up! You could start with an existing pool shape, and make it uniquely yours by changing some of the angles and curves of the pool. A few small changes can make a significant difference to the overall appearance.

4) Fire it up! To make your pool even more amazing, add fire or water features. There are many options available such as a fire bowl, for ambiance or excitement. You could also add waterfalls, fountains or sprays. A look that is really hot right now is a rock waterfall. It gives a natural look to any pool.
5) Change the context A different surface around the pool could give your pool its own unique style. The color and pattern of the pavers contributes to the uniqueness of your pool. Landscaping and shade areas can also be incorporated to make a unique swimming pool look.

One of the most unique pools we built was for a client who wanted a floating boulder in the middle of their pool. It was a large pool, so we placed a column in the deep end and then lowered a large boulder onto it. The customer wanted his children to be able to jump off the boulder, so we also built a bench around the column so the children had a way to climb onto the boulder. It also serves as a great place for adults to sit on out in the deep end.
